Our members partner with academics, industry leaders, researchers, and students, empowering them to develop and leverage resources to build an AI-ready workforce and engage with vital research in AI models, algorithms, and platforms.

Our working group uses AI to solve urgent climate challenges. Through open collaboration, we are developing AI models and complimentary tools to drive sustainable solutions for Earth monitoring, environmental preservation, and climate action.

The Advocacy Working Group supports regulatory policies that create healthy, sustainable, and open ecosystems for AI. It works on projects like Open Source AI Demo Night, which highlighted entrepreneurs using open source AI to innovate.

This working group aims to create a world-class research community that harnesses the potential of AI foundation models, transforms the field of drug discovery, and accelerates scientific progress by driving interdisciplinary collaboration on AI-powered drug discovery projects in the open.

We curate datasets, tasks and benchmarks for materials science, build out foundation models in chemistry for prediction of properties, experimental outcomes or generation of new candidates and create a framework to foster collaboration between human experts and AI agents that will ultimately help solve global urgent challenges in sustainability and safety of materials.
